Intellectual Outputs

O1: Survey of mental health professionals” activities and needs for community‐based  mental health care in participating countries

Introduction to current mental health care interventions – comparative review between partner countries. A set of key topics will be decided early on in the process based on partners” expertise. Entrepreneurial skills that are deemed relevant to the sectors professional and that can lead to community-based mental healthcare will be investigated. These findings will be represented in the selection of ECVET learning outcomes.

O2: Learning programme and platform specifications

The learning programme and the platform specifications are two intertwined entities that will be defined at this stage of the project. The learning programme and the detailed curriculum will dictate the platform specifications. Emphasis will be given on fostering true collaboration and best practice transfer as well as on designing a flexible curriculum that will be updated both during the e-training as well as through the mentoring phase. Although courses will be provided in English, wiki style glossaries will be made available to trainees and a crowd sourced approach will be adopted regarding their updates/enrichment.

O3: e‐learning platform

The e-learning platform will be implemented based on the aforementioned specifications. It will be an LMS (learning management system) that will host customised components and services tailored to the project’s needs. It will be developed in English but rich wiki style glossaries as well as blogs in participating countries” languages will be hosted in order to facilitate understanding.

O4: Training modules

Training modules will be created based on the learning objectives set in the preparation activities. Modules will be comprised of a variety of recourses and will be designed keeping in mind the transnational character of the on line training courses as well as the requirement for collaboration and true interaction between trainers and trainees. They will be created in the form of digital learning objects and will conform with SCROM allowing for their sharing, reuse and extension.

O5: On line validation test

The on line validation test will help trainees keep track of their understanding of the taught concepts during the e-training and it will also serve as a tool for visitors and students of the openly available material in order to assess their knowledge and perhaps motivate themselves in following the offered training either by joining an organised e-course or by adopting a self paced approach.

06: Collaborative on line training seminars on entrepreneurship and community based models in mental health care

The open on line course on entrepreneurship and community based models in mental health care will be e-training seminars that will be implemented in two phases. Beyond these two phases that will be described in detail below, the on line course will allow for self-paced participation in accordance to contemporary MOOC standards.

O7: One‐2‐one mentoring

Mentoring support will be made available to a subset of the original trainees. Only those who come up with an entrepreneurial idea and who express the will to follow up their idea will be selected to participate in this phase.

O8: Evaluation report

The evaluation report will collect and summarise all evaluation activities. It will draw meaningful conclusions both on the quality of the provided e-training and mentoring as well as on the efficacy of the performed training.

O9: Dissemination and sustainability plan and material

Dissemination of project actions and results will be spread throughout the project life span. All training material and key mentoring results will remain available after the end of the project. The provided e-training will be designed and implemented in such a manner that it will allow for self-paced learning. The on line validation tool will also be available and will give live feedback to potential learners. The sustainability plan will focus on concrete ways of making project results and products available for use in a sustainable way in the future. All dissemination material will be created in the 4 partner languages.

O10: Exploitation plan
